Start with the King of the Hill Mode in Offline Practice

In Offline Practice, there are three basic modes to choose from: Control Points, King of the Hill, and Payload. After completing Dustbowl Training, players may be tempted to jump straight into the Control Points mode on the same Dustbowl map. However, this mode can be overwhelming for beginners, as it requires a good understanding of the game and the map. Instead, it’s recommended to start with the King of the Hill mode. This mode is more straightforward, allowing players to quickly learn the location and enjoy the match without feeling too frustrated. King of the Hill in Team Fortress 2 is the most welcoming mode for newcomers.

Start with the Soldier class Like in Dota 2, it’s important to start with an easy character in TF2. The Soldier class is a great choice for beginners, as he is versatile and can be played effectively without a deep understanding of class roles and the flow of the match. The Soldier has a Rocket Launcher, Shotgun, and Shovel, which are all effective in different ranges of combat. He can run to the front line to shoot opponents and is also good in defense. With this beginner’s guide to TF2 in mind, just enjoy and try to learn as you go.
