Progression in Offline Practice: Control Points and Payload
After mastering the King of the Hill mode in Offline Practice, it’s time to move on to more challenging modes such as Control Points. This mode requires a deeper understanding of the map, the different classes, and effective team strategies as it involves capturing a larger number of points.
The next step is to play Payload, which is a very different mode that requires protecting or attacking a cart. Although it may feel like starting a new game, the previous experience will help you to quickly adapt and enjoy the mode while also being an effective player.
When you feel ready, it’s time to move on to multiplayer matches. Offline battles can only offer so much, and by joining the TF2 community, you’ll experience the full potential of the game. It’s a challenging step, but it’s well worth it to truly immerse yourself in the game and hone your skills against real players.
